Stephens Vineyard is a perfect example of an ideal combination of site and clonal selection. The vineyard is planted on steep slopes in Goldridge sandy loam soils, and features Dijon clone vines on vigor-reducing 101.14 rootstock. Though yields are low, the quality is outstanding, with these beautifully maturing vines producing expressive cool-climate pinot noir.
