Ritchie Vineyard Experience

Kent Ritchie's vineyard is widely recognized as one of the best Chardonnay vineyards in California. Coastal breezes and cool morning fog—combined with the unique soil profile of Goldridge, small pebbles and a layer of volcanic ash—allow this vineyard to showcase grapes of rare intensity and complexity. Since its birth in 1972, Kent has been delicately farming his vineyard with passion and pride. 

Kent will be there with Zardo, sharing what makes this vineyard, its soil, and location capable of producing our special wines. You’ll be amidst the vines during cluster closure—one of the earliest stages of fruit development. Be sure to come with both your questions and curiosities. We will be tasting a vertical of Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay and some of the single block Chardonnay that we started to make in 2017.
