For this wine, we combined several clones of Pinot Noir (primarily 115 and 667), which possess floral notes in a neutral barrel but take on darker, earthier qualities in the presence of the wood tannins of new oak. We combined both types of barrels and used both native and cultured yeast lots to create a rich, complex, layered wine.
